Outdoor wedding venues London
outdoor wedding venues London
There aren’t many outdoor wedding venues London which have it all, but I really think this one hits all the spots! You really woudn’t know this venue was tucked away in South London would you? Set in 125 acres of National Trust parkland, Morden Hall is a hidden gem amoungst the hustle and bustle of Morden town and the major roads which surround it. On the land is a bautiful stand alone, eighteenth-century house. The grounds with the park, feel a little wild, but still landscaped. There’s even a river and a little iron bridge to enjoy on your portrait session.
Sara spent the morning getting ready and having her hair and make-up done in the stunning Cherry Suite with her family, whilst Omar warmly greeted guests out front. The room is gorgeous with high ceilings, tons of day light and enough space for everyone. Sara’s mum helped with the finishing touches and Sara’s nerves and excitement began to show as the ceremony approached. Luckily she was only a short skip away from the ceremony room just downstairs.
The Civil Ceremony
Sara got to enjoy entering the ceremony (the Willow room) via a grand staircase and see all her friends and families faces light up from above as she walked calmly towards Omar. It was a lovely short ceremony followed by confetti and drinks in the garden adjoining the ceremony room.
Drinks Reception in the garden
Following the ceremony guests spilled out into the peaceful private garden where they showered the couple with confetti for good luck. This was followed by drinks in the National Trust gardens, the perfect setting for this late summer wedding. The best bit of outdoor wedding venues London is they allow guests to really let lose, there’s just something so relaxing about being outside in the sunshine!
“We’ve spent some time looking though the photos this weekend and they are wonderful. The style is perfect, exactly what we wanted. The presentation box with usb stick is just wonderful. Could not be happier with the photos!”
THE STYLE IS PERFECT. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE PHOTOS!
Sara + Omar
During the drinks reception when guests are chatting and enjoying drinks, we like to scoot you off for 15-20 minutes. It’s a really nice to enjoy time together alone and enjoy the perks of having an outdoor wedding venue London and still be close by so you can see your guests having a blast!
The Muslim Ceremony
Following the drinks reception guests enjoyed a Muslim Ceremony in the Hawthorn room. Sara added a stunning lace hooded cape to her dress for the ceremony. A close family friend conducted the cermony called ‘The Nikah’ which are muslim blessings. He beautifully translated the Arabic texts which allowed the english speakers to enjoy the ceremony and also experience something new!
Dinner + Speeches
The Mulberry room has an instant wow factor with it’s high vaulted ceiling and plenty of daylight. The couple delivered heart felt speeches, followed by the father of the bride and a reading by Omar’s sister.
Following dinner, Sara & Omar cut the cake in the adjoining Yew room surrounded by friends and family and enjoyed their first dance in the Willow Room where they had their ceremony. The couple danced to an accoustic duo and indian beats by the in-laws!
