Cripps Barn Wedding
outdoor wedding venues London
Cheryl & Jak’s Cripps Barn wedding ( a stunning 18th Century Cotswold stone barn) was a really relaxed day. There were lots of little personal touches. The couple got engaged on a chairlift whilst on a skiing holiday. As a result, the homemade decorations related to skiing, which made the day unique.
Cheryl and her close friends and family got ready in a sweet cottage near the venue. Jak and his mates got ready and then hit the local pub for a cheeky pint!
Cripps Barn Wedding Ceremony
Cripps Barn has a really warm, rustic atmosphere. It has flagstone floors, exposed beams and a huge spectacular open fireplace. The ceremony took in the dramatic stone barn. The ceremony had a really romantic, down-to-earth vibe. In contrast the registrar made a brilliant slip of words, leaving the guests in hysterics! Certainly one to remember!
Cripps Barn Wedding Reception
Following the ceremony guests spilled out into the private garden for the drinks reception with live acoustic music. The most epic bbq I’ve ever seen sizzling away near by gave the guests much to look forward to!
Portraits at Cripps Barn
Cripps Barn has a diverse landscape. Open fields and woodlands a stone’s throw away. It’s also just next to a lumber yard, which definitely appealed to the outdoor loving couple. Jak works in the forestry industry, therefore the venue had a nice connection to the couple.
“Thank you so much Katy and Wayne for capturing our wedding day so perfectly through the photos that we will treasure forever. You really did manage to capture the fun, love, glitter and hard work that we had put into the day and provided us with great documentation of what a hell of a party it was. We love them so much.”

Wedding BBQ + Drinks at Cripps Barn
A nice surpise and a bit of fun! one person per table was gifted with a humorous apron to help them carve up the delicious bbq steaks grilled during the drinks reception.
Speeches kicked off with the father of the bride. Followed by the groom and best man. A surprise speech by the maid of honour is probably the most embarrassing speech I’ve heard about a groom. Now that was a true roasting!
First dance surrounded by friends and family, complete with a brilliant live band. Big shapes on the dance floor. To finish it all off a fire pit. Totally rustic.
