The Conservatory at Painshill Wedding
outdoor wedding venues London
Our beautiful couple, Seun and Michael who met at university, decided to have their Painshill Park wedding at The Conservatory. Most of all, the day was a real celebration of two cultures coming together. One of the most energetic weddings we’ve ever seen, certainly one to remember! The bride, Seun is Nigerian and the groom, Michael is from Sunderland. They promised it would be a loud and colourful day!
The bride began her day with close friends getting ready at a beautiful apartment in Notting Hill. Michael spent the morning at their home taking care of final preparations before the ceremony at The Holy Trinity Brompton church near the famous V&A in central London.
Wedding at Holy Trinity Brompton Church London
The beautiful Gothic church features a contemporary interior making it feel modern. We’d say it’s suitable for large wedding ceremonies of 100+ guests. It feels really grand, decorative and the stage elevated at the front means all guests can see the ceremony.
Portraits in Painshill Park Cobham Surrey
Following the ceremony we took the couple into Painshill Park in Cobham. Painshill Park is full of unusual ‘monuments’ by Charles Hamilton. There is so much to explore all within short walk of the reception venue The Conservatory. There is a stunning lake, a Gothic temple, a Chinese bridge, a ruined abbey, a Turkish tent and a grotto!
“Exactly what we had asked for – not too cheesy! Our wedding was quite large for a usual English wedding but this was handled with ease. The thing that I think would really set Katy and Co. apart from others has been their aftercare, the presentation of the photos was gorgeous and the continued interaction and help has been great.”
THE PRESENTATION OF THE PHOTOS WAS GORGEOUS.
Seun + Michael
Following the drinks reception in the gardens, the couple enjoyed a very entertaining array of speeches, combining both British and Nigerian traditions. Some big emotions and laughs!
Cake + Dancing
Folowing the cake cutting, Seun and hr father hit the flor shortly followed by the first dance between her and michael.

The party then hit full swing, with some major moves! Again a mix of both cultures sharing music and moves on the dance floor! including the famous money dance!
